أنواع ثلاثة

العبد بين أنواع ثلاثة من النعم :

1 ـ نعمة حاصلة يعلم بها العبد .

2 ـ ونعمة منتظرة يرجوها .

3 ـ ونعمة هو فيها لايشعر بها .

فإذا أراد الله أن إتمام نعمته على عبده عرفه نعمته الحاضرة

وأعطاه من شكره قيدا يقيدها به حتى لاتشرد

فإنها تشرد بالمعصية وتقيد بالشكر .

ووفقه لعمل يستجلب به النعمة المنتظرة

وبصره بالطرق التى تسدها وتقطع طريقها ووفقه لإجتنابها .

وإذا بها قد وافت إليه على أتم الوجوه

وعرفه النعم التى هو فيها ولا يشعر بها .

ويحكى أن إعرابيا دخل على الرشيد فقال :

يا أمير المؤمنين ثبت الله عليك النعم التى فيها بإدامة شكرها

وحقق لك النعم التى ترجوها بحسن الظن به ودوام طاعته

وعرفك النعم التى أنت فيها ولا تعرفها لتشكرها .

فأعجبه ذلك منه وقال : ما أحسن تقسيمه .
